Samsar engineers and manufactures new lithium batteries and partners with leading EV manufacturers to repurpose EV batteries for numerous other applications. Our patented and UL 1974 compliant re-assembly process captures 90–100% of a used EV battery’s content, unlocking the full value of the lithium battery supply chain.

Samsar is based in Houston, Texas, USA. New lithium batteries are assembled in Dallas, Texas. Repurposed lithium batteries from EVs and other applications are tested and certified in Houston with proof of quality data saved on our NthLife battery passport and available via QR code on the battery.
Samsar was incubated by Mobility Impact Partners (MIP) and was founded by Steve Hellman, co-founder of Energy Impact Partners, and founder of MIP.
