Public Invention is a nonprofit seeking for five years of existence, to create a Humanitarian Movement by creating an entire Free Open Software Source ecosystem for human respiration, Our CEO and Founder Dr. Robert Read has been working with NASA to develop a space-age robust oxygen generator for rural clinics. We empower inventors, technologists, and college graduate and undergraduate students to invent things that help all people by publishing, finding, and collaborating on invention ideas through direct coaching, team formation, curation of work, publication, co-working, and learning events. We invite builders of the future to challenge the notion that inventions should be reserved for patents and profits. Rather, use their skills for humanitarian engineering purposes. We want to make the future better for everyone. Public Inventors follow these principles: Share everything equally and immediately. Work in the light. Keep it real. Don’t build weapons. Ideas are cheap. Seek egalitarian usefulness. Collaborate whenever possible. Honor and value every contribution.
