PT IFISHDECO TBK (IFSH.JK) was establish in 1971 and listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on 5 December 2019.
(IFSH.JK) is a Mining Minerals Company in Indonesia that currently engages in the Exploration, Development, Operations, Sales, and Transportation of minerals to nickel smelter. In addition, the company owns and operates several mineral assets, such as nickel mines in Sulawesi, Indonesia.
(IFSH.JK) first began commercial production and sales of nickel ore in 2011 at Ifishdecos mining concession in Tinanggea, Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi. During the period of 2011 to 2014, the company rapidly became known as one of the largest nickel ore exporters to China.
In 2014, the Indonesian Government implemented an export ban on nickel ore sales for export. The changes in government regulation is to encourage foreign direct investment and to develop the nickel processing industry, thus in support of the policy by the Indonesian Government (IFSH.JK) developed a subsidiary named PT Bintang Smelter Indonesia (BSI). The company was developed on 70 hectares of land in Ifishdecos Tinanggea, Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi location with license permit for the processing of nickel ore. (BSI) is engaged in the production and sales of Nickel Pig Iron (NPI) and started commercial production and sales in 2019.
