PresenTense, an Israel based non-profit since 2009, promotes an inclusive society, one where all diverse communities are equally represented in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Israel, known as the ‘Startup Nation’.
The heart of our activity derives from a fundamental belief that entrepreneurship is the 21st century’s superpower that enables personal empowerment, communal development and economic growth while providing individuals and communities with an equal opportunity to take part in Israel’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and achieve exponential economic growth.
Our cutting-edge nationwide programs are of a grassroots nature; we work from the bottom up and provide socially marginalized communities from Israel’s socio-geographic periphery with outstanding entrepreneurship and leadership education.
Our unique model promotes entrepreneurial ecosystems within the periphery throughout the country aiming to reduce socio-economic gaps, encourage inclusion and bridge the gap between the ‘Startup Nation’ and communities who are underrepresented in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
We focus on working with young adults from diverse and socially marginalized communities through Community Building which includes inspirational events, local meetups, skill-building workshops and tours. We provide entrepreneurs and small business owners with vital entrepreneurial tools, intensive methodological training, mentoring and support in the development of business or innovative tech ventures through our Innovation Courses and Entrepreneurial Accelerators. Our Startup School exposes youth in high schools at the periphery to the opportunities of the ‘Startup Nation and provides tools for creative thinking and problem-solving alongside personal empowerment. With ‘Train the Trainer‘ we ensure continuity and lasting impact, by qualifying local leaders and change agents as well as parents, teachers and staff.
