With the innovative PL-profile, I have developed a patented corner connection profile that makes corner seams superfluous.
The manual welding of corner seams, precise grinding of the surface and the straightening of the angles have been three of the most time and skill consuming steps in the production of sheet metal housings (e.g. control cabinets and machine housings). Thanks to the PL-profile, open edges no longer have to be connected with corner seams.
The PL-Profile is already equipped with the necessary outer radius to seamlessly join sheet metal surfaces, and they are simply welded from inside using plug welds (and other types of attachment such as gluing are also possible).
Furthermore, PL-Profile can also replace bendings, especially in the production of prototypes and small series, so that sheet metal housings can also be manufactured without the need for a press brake or without the need of setting up a bending machine.
