The Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association (PVCA) was established in 1982 to encourage growth of venture capital and businesses in western Pennsylvania. Since then we have become the leading voice of private equity investors in the region. The PVCA offers educational, investment and networking programs and events. We also serve as an advocate for regional investors. Our programs facilitate the flow of capital into promising ventures and encourage discussions on relevant topics such as investment trends, financing, tax issues, IPOs and public policy issues. Our members contribute to the local economic, investment and entrepreneurial climate and help create a more vibrant, diverse entrepreneurial community.
