Currently, PEOPL operates exclusively in Mexico and has become the leading digital oncology clinic in Latin America. The cancer care landscape is often hindered by a lack of guidance, distrust in healthcare systems, and inadequate medical education, leading to suboptimal health outcomes and a reduced quality of life. At PEOPL, patients are offered a monthly subscription for unlimited specialized oncology care, covering everything from oncology consultations to nutritional advice. When a patient requires on-site care or additional services, we leverage our extensive clinical provider network. This allows us to offer a broad range of services nationwide, from medications and treatments to surgeries.
PEOPL started as a compassionate, conversational virtual nurse that focused on educating cancer patients, promoting treatment adherence, and providing emotional support. In just eighteen months, we developed one of the worlds most sophisticated and unique chatbots for cancer care. Consequently, we have engaged with over 2,500 patients across 13 countries, achieved a 48% daily active users to monthly active users ratio, and maintained a 70% retention rate in the first six months of use. This initial experience deepened our understanding of the population and helped us build a community that later played a pivotal role in reshaping our approach.
