Indoor padel clubs in Europe, visited in person and scored on the lifestyle.
Nine measures out of forty-five. Atmosphere, welcome, coffee, food, wifi, workspace, showers, gym, parking. One to five each, all counting equally. Plenty of people review courts and coaching. This is about everything around the game.
I pay my own way into every club. I park and walk in the way a member would, play at the clubs own price through the clubs own booking system, then work from it for three hours to find out whether that is even possible. If a club is disappointing I say so. If the door needs an access code from a booking system it does not get reviewed at all, because a club you can only enter with a booking is a box with courts in it.
Seven clubs on the board so far, across the UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland, with Zug and Žilina next. Ten clubs I can vouch for beats four hundred scraped off a directory.
I also work with clubs directly. The best padel clubs make five times what the worst ones make from the same court, and almost none of that gap is the padel. The Club Day is one day inside your building: scored on the same nine measures as the public board, your Google Maps ranking rebuilt while I am there, your player journey mapped, and the empty middle of your day turned into a plan. €2,000, one price, travel included, one club per catchment.
Your score is published before you ever hire me, and no club has paid to appear on the board. Do the work and I come back, re-score you on the same nine measures, and the board moves.
