OCO is commercializing the solution to half of the world's man-made greenhouse gas emissions that come from less than 8,000 industrial point sources. OCO is a start-up commercializing proprietary technology developed over the last 10 years to electro-catalytically convert low-value carbon dioxide waste gas into a high value and sustainable chemical and hydrogen-rich fuel, formic acid, using intermittent renewable electricity. OCO's process is highly carbon negative and much less expensive than existing fossil-based processes and feedstocks. OCO is pleased to be working with the Department of Energy, Det Norske Veritas, Montana State University and South Florida University to commercialize this breakthrough technology.
