The Policy Case Competition encourages students to think critically, analytically, and creatively to present policy proposals on real issues. Undergraduate and graduate students from the U.S. and Canada are invited to research, design, and present their teams policy proposals on current issues in this three-round competition. During the second and third rounds, panels of expert judges evaluate the proposals in real time and give actionable feedback. The Policy Case Competition is a great way for students to gain hands-on experience in policy-making outside the classroom, with two workshops to help competitors refine their skills in policy memo writing and presentations. The winning team receives a cash prize and a paid trip to the nationโ€™s capital to propose their policy to real policy-makers.
