Nutrient Rescue is a social enterprise on a mission to make New Zealanders the healthiest people on the planet. By dialling up plant foods through the use of our plant powders we aim to provide Kiwis with their 'five a day'​ servings of fruit and vegetables. By creating global demand for plant-based foods Nutrient Rescue wants to give New Zealand farmers an alternative to animal agriculture, making New Zealand the organic plant farm to the world. 36% of New Zealanders don’t get three serves of veges a day, and 43% don’t get two serves of fruit. Coupled with too much meat, dairy, wheat, sugar and alcohol, this micronutrient-poor diet has led to the modern epidemics of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer and dementia. We want to change all that!
