Mereka was founded in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by the Biji-biji Group. We are recognized as an education technology provider which encompasses real-world applications, introduction and adoption of digital technology, and environmental and social governance (ESG). We serve international development agencies, foreign and local government agencies, corporate foundations, corporate clients, schools, and education institutions by designing and implementing in-depth and low-touch training programs for individual learners and organizations. Our programs, spaces, and digital platform inspire, equip and support game-changers and disruptors who will lead the next generation of companies, industries, and economies.
Besides training programs, Mereka offers makerspace consultancy (designing, building, and managing makerspaces). Mereka’s flagship makerspace is located in Publika Shopping Gallery, KL. Mereka’s second makerspace is located at Taylor’s University’s Lakeside Campus in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. To date, Mereka has consulted various public and private sectors in their makerspace design and construction.
Mereka.io is Mereka’s digital platform - a sustainable ecosystem of learning, innovation, and collaboration through technology. It acts as a booking platform for creative individuals to access the available resources around them for education, upskilling and reskilling!
