The Delta pod trades U.S Options with discretionary execution supported by a quantitative framework, the Epsilon & Janus pods specialize in statistical arbitrage and trend-following algorithmic strategies on CME Futures. Finally, the Sirius pod trades NYSE Equities supported by an NLP framework.
The goal of the MCD trading program is to trade a scalable complementary portfolio able to adapt and perform in various market conditions, enhancing the goal of remaining uncorrelated to major benchmarks and permitting the program to find or maintain alpha in fast changing market conditions.
MCD Capital was initially founded in 2021 as an ambitious university investment club focused on systematic trading research in derivatives. The group was formed by
bringing together Doctorate, Bachelors and Masters students from the UKs top universities, merging diverse disciplines to complement each members skill set.
