The Literacy Coalition of Central Texas breaks the cycle of intergenerational poverty through holistic literacy services. Low literacy impacts every facet of social life. When adults learn how to read, write, do basic math, improve their English skills, and learn how to use computers, they gain the power to lift themselves out of poverty, find sustainable employment, and help their children succeed in school. Literacy changes lives! At the Literacy Coalition, we believe everyone should have the tools they need to reach their full potential and have the opportunity to thrive. Our services and partnerships create a bridge to opportunity through Adult Education, Career Development Education, and Family Education.
