Lighthouse Reports is an award-winning pioneer of collaborative journalism. We work with Europes leading media to deliver deeply reported, public interest journalism on migration, conflict and corruption. We do this by building newsrooms around topics and channeling editors, tools and resources to working journalists with the results reach the public on existing platforms (newspapers, online and broadcast). A non-profit based in the Netherlands, Lighthouse Reports leads complex transnational investigations that blend traditional investigative journalism methods such as FOIAs with emerging techniques like open source investigation. Our newsrooms pioneer new formats and pay particular attention to fresh ways of framing complex issues that will capture public attention and challenge misconceptions.
