Bruce is currently serving as a Co-Chair of IP Committee and a Vice-Chair of State and Local Procurement Committee of the Public Contract Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is a registered patent attorney and member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
Bruce received his law degree with honors from USC and his engineering degree from UCLA, where his upper division coursework focused on biomedical engineering, ergonomics, user interface design, and man-machine systems.
