KOMO’s non-CRISPR, non-viral, non-nuclease gene engineering platform has demonstrated large gene insertion into a pre-defined, high-expressing region at up to 80% integration efficiency per chromosome in up to 96% of cells with unprecedented high efficiencies. The technology does not induce unprotected double strand DNA breaks thereby potentially addressing limitations of current gene engineering methods (CRISPR and its derivatives) with respect to off target editing, low efficiency, and inability to insert large fragments of DNA.
