What is King’s Investments Society?
At KIS, we believe that investing is for everyone, regardless of their background or level of experience. You dont need to study a finance related degree.
Through our events, talks, socials or workshops, you will get answers to questions like: “How do I get started with investing?” or “What investment strategy fits me?”. For the more experienced members, we will dig deeper into the markets with the help of academics and industry leaders.
The idea of starting KIS came up in 2021 when we saw an increased interest in the financial markets among young people. However, no society at King’s was dedicated to these retail investors. We aim at building a strong community through (open end) socials with loads of fun and discussions because we believe that the best ideas come from a close and diverse group.
