Kids In Danger (KID) was a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children by improving childrens product safety. KID was founded in 1998 by the parents of Danny Keysar who was killed when the portable crib he slept in at his Chicago child care home collapsed, strangling him. KIDs mission was to promote the development of safer childrens products, advocate for children and educate the public about dangerous childrens products. KID ceased operations in December 2024
