The Katapult Foundation is building a new narrative for technology and investment, with the goal of moving people, capital and technology for good. We sit alongside the Katapult Group, a system of companies investing in and scaling sustainable impact-focused tech startups. Katapult founder Tharald Nustad created the Katapult Foundation to gather and further Katapult’s educational and community-building activities.
Our vision is a world where all humans thrive in harmony with the planet. Our strategies promote impact investment and the responsible use of technology for the benefit of society and the planet. We are rooted in the Norwegian values of trust, justice and equality.
The activities of the Katapult Foundation include:
- The Nordic Impact Investing Network, providing assert owners across the region with support for their impact journeys
- The Nordic Impact Investing Academy, educating families and asset owners moving into strategic action with their impact investments
- Accelerate, a consortium program with Foundation partners to guide entrepreneurs in the transition to impact investing
- The Katapult Future Fest, an annual gathering of our community of experts and practitioners to explore the future of impact
- IMP+, a systems change impact investing research initiative in collaboration with the Impact Investing Project
- The Coalition for Impact (C4i), a unique global network of networks that strives towards an inclusive financial system
