Just Midwest Guys is a Columbus, OH based investment company founded by three Central Ohio entrepreneurs that started, scaled, and sold our companies in significant exits. We are seeking to acquire an operating company based in the Central Ohio area that we can help grow and hold as owners indefinitely.
We are NOT a Private Equity company with a fund to deploy, a mandate to grow at all costs, and a target to resell companies in 5-7 years.
Our operating style is based on our midwestern values and deep-seated belief that empowering people through tech-enablement and process improvements leads to lasting success for both the company and the people around it.
We believe in building upon the legacy of the business and providing opportunities through growth for the employees that paved the way to its current success.
We are looking to acquire an operating business within a ~ 1 hour drive of Central Ohio that includes the following characteristics:
- $1-2 million/yr of EBITDA or SDE for at least 3 years
- Defensible market position
- Diversified customer base
- Stable leadership team with significant growth potential
