JMG Group was formed in 2020 following a management buyout of JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers, led by CEO Nick Houghton, with the backing of innovative growth investors, SYNOVA. Since then, we have strengthened the group further through the addition of GTCR alongside SYNOVA, supporting a long-term strategy to further build a leading independent insurance group in the UK.
Growth has come through a combination of organic development and carefully selected acquisitions, bringing together a network of respected regional brokers. We combine deep local expertise with the strength and capability of a national organisation.
