JhaJi Store sells traditional homemade pickles made by women using authentic recipes from Mithilanchal in Bihar. Kalpana and Uma Jha started this business to take Mithila’s authentic taste to people who have once lived in the region but have since moved out for work or education. JhaJi Store is an honest and conscious business that employs mostly underprivileged women, but also men, who have seen their family income triple in the few months they have been working with JhaJi.
