On October 7th, 2023, a heinous attack orchestrated by Hamas terrorists shattered the lives of hundreds of Israeli families. Countless children were left orphaned, having lost one or both parents, and often other family members and friends. In the aftermath of these devastating atrocities, we, a group of Israeli tech and business leaders united with a shared mission: to ensure these children wouldnt have to face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives alone. The aim was not just for these children to survive but to thrive. Pooling our collective strengths, invaluable execution experience, and fundraising expertise, we embarked on the path to establish the Israeli Childrens Fund (ICF). In just weeks, the ICF had already extended over 1 Million NIS in immediate financial support to these children, all while laying the financial, legal, and structural foundation needed to ensure long-term financial stability, empowering these children to overcome adversity and build a brighter future. העמותה הוקמה ימים ספורים לאחר אירועי ה-7.10 ע״י אנשי ונשות עסקים והייטק במטרה לתמוך בלמעלה מ-400 ילדים וילדות בגילאי 0-25 שאיבדו הורה בטבח הנורא מכל שידעה מדינת ישראל. מטרת העמותה לייצר מעטפת כלכלית ומקצועית עבור כל אחד ואחת מהילדים והילדות, על מנת שיוכלו לחיות חיים מיטיביים ומלאים ככל הניתן לצד הטרגדיה והאובדן. ״עטופים באהבה״ שואפת להעמיד בפני כל ילד מערך תמיכה כלכלי בשווי של עד 700,000 שקלים לטובת אירועי חיים משמעותיים, חינוך פורמלי ובלתי פורמלי, שיקום וחוסן.לצד מערך התמיכה הכלכלי, ״עטופים באהבה״ פועלת כגוף מתכלל עבור הילדים והילדות בכל ומנגישה ידע אודות זכויות והזדמנויות וכן ליווי והכוונה בצמתי קבלת החלטות
