Over 1.2 billion people lack access to electricity worldwide and in Mexico alone, more than 2 million are not connected to the electricity grid . These rural households light their homes with candles, diesel or other light sources that can have a negative impact on their health and the environment. Our solution is simple: changing those sources for renewable energy and providing much better lighting quality with our affordable solar home systems. After nine years of working with the base of the socioeconomic pyramid, we have developed a comprehensive model designed to fulfill our mission: fighting poverty through the supply of clean energy.
