Hot Lime Labs has developed a system to produce clean, renewable CO2 from the combustion of wood and agri-waste for large high-tech commercial greenhouses, improving crop yields by 15-20%. The Pilot system underwent a successful trial at a commercial greenhouse in 2019, and the first commercial system is set to be installed in late 2022. The Hot Lime system enables growers enrich the greenhouse atmosphere in CO2, allowing them to boost yields in a sustainable and more cost-effective way than existing methods.
