Hire an Artist is an online art commission platform for people and artists to meet and create art. Founded in 2014 after it’s founder, Gareth Craven, found that there was no online business which provided a service which made art commissions simple and easy to people who are new to the world of art commissions. With a focus to address the problems the art commissions market is riddled with, Hire an Artist has been 17 months in the making, up to it’s launch in 10th June 2015. Our vision is to become the market leader in freelance artistry market and to be widely recognized as the go-to place for any member of the public to get the art they themselves envisioned; the art they love. But also for any artist looking for freelance work and to expand their portfolio. Our mission is to support the growth and development of freelance artists in a supporting environment.
