With these proceeds, Pankh can further promote its cause of educating rural women about hygiene and other related advantages of using sanitary products. They uniquely educate these women by employing them to manufacture these low cost sanitary napkins and in turn get them to spread awareness amongst their family, friends and villages, thereby, meeting dual objectives of empowering women and spreading hygiene simultaneously.
This natural phenomenon is considered a taboo in the eyes of us "Indians" and we are trying to make a small change in that mindset.
