Hexium is modernizing America’s isotope enrichment capabilities to power the next generation of advanced fission and fusion systems. We are building a reliable, scalable, and secure domestic supply of critical isotopes—starting with lithium-6 and lithium-7—using a reinvented form of Atomic Vapor Laser Isotope Separation (AVLIS). Building on foundational work from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Hexium integrates state-of-the-art laser systems, beam propagation physics, precision optics, high-vacuum engineering, advanced controls, and industrial-scale manufacturing to bring isotope enrichment into the 21st century. Our multidisciplinary team includes leaders in laser physics, photonics, nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, automation, power electronics, and scientific instrumentation working hands-on to solve some of the most complex problems in clean-energy hardware. Hexium’s mission is simple and urgent: Enable the nuclear technologies that will power a cleaner, safer, more resilient future. We are actively hiring engineers, scientists, and technical experts who want to build real hardware with real impact.
