"Humanity evolves with nuclear fusion." Helical Fusion was founded in 2021 as a spin-off startup from the National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) in Japan. We aim to create a sustainable and stable energy source that will enable the coexistence of humans and the Earth for the next million years. Based on the knowledge and expertise accumulated over 25 years of plasma research at NIFSs Large Helical Device (LHD), as well as the development of key fusion reactor technologies and reactor design engineering, Helical Fusion is committed to the development of new technologies, the integration of technologies, and the realization of the worlds first helical fusion reactor. Currently, Helical Fusion is engaged in 14 collaborative research projects, including high-temperature superconducting magnets, blankets (liquid metal, new materials, numerical simulations, etc.), heating systems (gyrotron), power generation systems (CO2 gas turbines), fuel systems (solid hydrogen pellet injection), and maintenance robots. (Japanese follows) 「人類は核融合で進化する」 Helical Fusionは、核融合科学研究所（National Institute for Fusion Science: NIFS）のスピンアウト・スタートアップとして2021年に設立されました。我々はヘリカル核融合炉で 持続的かつ安定したエネルギーを創造し、このさき百万年続く地球と人類の共生を可能にすることを目指しています。 NIFSの大型ヘリカル装置（Large Helical Device: LHD）で約25年に渡り蓄積されたプラズマに関する知見および核融合炉に必要な要素技術の開発と炉設計工学に基づき、新たな技術開発と、技術の統合実証、そして世界初のヘリカル式定常核融合炉の実現を目指しています。 現在、高温超伝導マグネット、ブランケット（液体金属、新規材料、数値シミュレーション, etc.）、加熱装置（ジャイロトロン）、発電装置（CO2ガスタービン）、燃料装置（固体水素ペレット入射）、メンテナンス用クレーンロボットなど14の共同研究が進行中です。
