My name is Raeanne Cook.
I am a holistic wellness coach living amongst the prairie ocean of wheat in Regina, Saskatchewan.
I wanted to take the time to introduce myself to all of you, for today I start my journey offering my holistic wellness knowledge professionally. I have studied/practiced both Western and traditional medicine for the past 17 years. During my years working for the health authorities across the prairies I saw just how desperately the Western medical system was falling apart and unable to keep up with demand, let alone offer compassionate, patient centered, whole-system care.
5 years ago I walked away from from advancing my career as a nurse in Alberta, seeing the politics would never let me actually help my patients. I packed up my family and moved us here to heal and grow.... and grow I did. I indulged myself in farming, studying herbs, nutrition, meditation, mindfullness. I searched for a way I could still help others, yet also focus on me and my family's health and well-being. How could I share my knowledge and help other's not be soo dependant on a broken system?
Last fall I decided the right path for me was becoming a holistic wellness coach. I have since been bringing myself to a level of confidence in my ability to coach and truely offer others the ability to meet their individual goals.
Going forward I hope to share, learn, and grow with you all.
