Harvard GMP39 Ventures (HGV) is a learning-driven investment collective formed by members of Harvard Business School’s GMP39 cohort. Our members are experienced founders, operators, executives, and investors who have built companies and navigated multiple economic cycles across industries and geographies. We believe the strongest ventures are built through judgment, shared learning, and long-term partnership — not speed, scale, or hype. HGV was created not as a traditional venture platform, but as an extension of the HBS case-method mindset beyond the classroom. We invest deliberately, emphasizing shared diligence, diverse perspectives, and thoughtful debate. Rooted in the HBS tradition of rigorous thinking and ethical leadership, HGV operates with a community-first philosophy. We believe enduring companies are built at the intersection of capital, experience, and trusted relationships — and that learning, when done collectively, remains a lasting advantage. HGV maintains an open and thoughtful posture toward founders building meaningful, durable businesses — particularly those within the Harvard community — as well as toward alumni and partners who share our values of curiosity, integrity, and long-term commitment.
