Great Walks of Australia is a collection of Australias best multi-day guided walks through the countrys most iconic and wild landscapes.
Great Walks of Australia represents this collective eco-tourism brand through management and marketing of these unique hikes. Our focus is on domestic consumers, brand awareness and growing the walking industry in Australia, as well as facilitation of introductions to trade and media, and increasing international visitation through activity in key overseas markets.
Great Walks Of Australia is also one of Tourism Australias Signature Experiences Of Australia, showcasing the best of the countrys tourism experiences to the world.
Each walk highlights a premium walk experience and location, with expert guides, often exclusive eco-luxury accommodation, and gourmet food and wine.
There are currently 12 member walks who have met strict selection criteria, including exceptional sustainability and operational practices, to be members of Great Walks of Australia.
