Girl Starter is a trans-media company that uses entertainment to inspire, amplify, mentor and fund the next generation of female business owners and leaders. Girl Starter is helmed by a reality competition TV series where in Season 1, eight young women (18-24) competed for $100,000 of seed money and services. We are using entertainment to inspire the next generation of female business owners and leaders. Girl Starter debuted on TLC with six episodes on 4/28. Girl Starter focuses on early phase business building in six steps: Start it, Plan it, Prove it, Build it, Brand it, Fund it. We believe young women have to "See it to Start it" and we are looking to expand the role models for women in entertainment.
