Front is a student party in the university council, where it represents the interests of the students. Front is the largest student party of Tilburg University. We were founded in 2006 by three progressive students. They wanted to create more competition within the student parties in the university council, in order to ensure a better academic debate and with that, bringing the council to a higher level. These students had a clear vision in mind. Even today, their vision can be seen through the actions of Front. Front is ‘Going the Extra Mile’. Front chooses to represent the interests of those students who themselves sensibly go ‘the extra mile’. These students are the heart of the university community and are vital for the success of the university. They create opportunities for themselves and others through their active attitude. These students do more and thus deserve more. Front is prepared to go ‘the extra mile’ for the students who do this as well. Tilburg University has been increasingly internationally oriented. Front has, since its establishment, marked that the ambition to enlargen the international character of Tilburg University is very important. That is why student party Front is always pursuing internationalisation. Internationalisation should be reflected in the education of Dutch and international students.
