The mission of First Tee Utah is "Teaching Utah kids character values and life skills through golf.” We use a golf course as our classroom to teach kids life skills based on the Nine Core Values of honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment. We teach them interpersonal skills, self-management, goal setting and resilience. The kids learn skills for succeeding in life while learning the game of a lifetime.
