Fintech Neo has its roots in a digital portal that our programming team designed to Norwegian aid organizations back in 2005. Since then our team has developed a range of other software that has being used for several years by financial institutions, media and cultural institutions. In 2016 we organized all our software and operations in Fintech Neo Group. The company group is part of MESH - The Nordic Creators´ Community. We apply our knowledge of cutting edge technologies to create innovate solutions. We don’t use new technologies because it is new, we only use new stuff if it is better than the old stuff. We use cloud technology, not because it is the latest buzzword, but because it facilitates greater scalability. We create responsive design, because it is easier to get our code to our customers no matter what devices they have. We use HTML5, because our users get lower latencies than with server side computation. Regarding security, we know that security need to be built in from the start. Good security is the result of process, not an afterthought. We also need to apply the correct threat model, so that the end result will be both secure and practical. We also need to have several layers of security measures, going from world class physical facilities to 2 factor authentication (like BankID) and encryption. We believe that blockchain technology will be an important part of our digital future.
