The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation was endowed in 2008 to help evolve engineering beyond the application of the sciences to the creation of businesses that capitalize on innovations. The gift was made by the James N. and Nancy J. Farley Foundation on behalf of the late Northwestern Engineering alumnus James Farley (EE '50) and his wife Nancy. The center serves as a resource for students, faculty, and alumni from across the University.
