Fairtide Capital invests in essential service businesses and the manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers those businesses depend on.
Our model is not a traditional one, and we think that matters in this market. We invest in solid businesses with proven track records, the way private equity does, but without some of the scale restrictions that many funds have. We stay flexible on structure, the way venture capital does, giving us the freedom to back a visionary plan that may not yet have a long-term track record. And we bring operating expertise, capacity, and capability, because building, optimizing, and running these businesses is what we have done for nearly twenty years.
That capability is part of what makes us different. We do not write a check and wish an owner well. We bring guidance on growth and go-to-market, support in the day to day, and the best-in-class tools and infrastructure a modern service company needs, including AI that removes busywork, improves efficiency, and allows operators to focus on what they do best. Capital is one part of what we offer, not the whole of it.
We work with a small group of long-term capital partners who share this view of the market. We buy businesses we would be glad to own indefinitely, and that patience changes the decisions we make. We are never forced to choose a quick exit over what is right for the business, its employees, and its customers. It also lets us build for two results at once: enterprise value that compounds over decades, and cash returns each year along the way.
We have been on both sides of this table. We have built companies in this industry, run them day to day, and sold them. We have worked with hundreds of service businesses, from two-truck shops to the Fortune 100.
We welcome conversations with owners thinking about what comes next, this year or several years out, and with the advisors who work alongside them.
