The mission of Elementary Robotics is to spark an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at a young age, utilizing a robotics competition as a way to capture students’ imagination. This non-profit organization challenges elementary students to be creative while building a programmable, remote-controlled robot using Legos to accomplish a specific task. Students gain valuable experience by working together as a team and becoming problem solvers, public speakers, and leaders. Participation in this program will demonstrate to students that applying the science and math concepts learned in school can be fun and have real world applications.
