The Econic process embeds upcycled carbon into products that perform better for people and the planet. This process reduces the carbon footprint by up to 30% without compromising performance. In polyurethane formulations, Econic polyols make it possible to process foams more quickly, make more durable coatings and reduce flame retardants without sacrificing performance. With our process, manufacturers can use recycled CO2 at temperatures and pressures in line with standard production, so energy costs don’t increase. Econic’s technology works with existing manufacturing assets and only requires a few process changes. Brand owners also enjoy an economic upside with Econic polyols.
