Formed on 16th March 2020 as a Slack group, code4covid began as an initiative to bring UK tech projects together and coordinate volunteers to use their skills for these grassroot businesses.
Now at over 1,800 volunteers, the purpose is simple: utilise technology to fight the challenges brought by COVID-19.
Our community of technologists has to-date helped over 180 projects from the non-profit and Charities sector: by collaborating with Covid Tech Support we ensure the talent is channelled and assigned to these grassroot operations and efforts are not duplicated.
