The Dental Implant Registry (DIR) enables Dental Professionals & Implant Patients worldwide to easily register dental implants details and their components including the dental professionals involved in their treatment. OUR VISION To be a recognised global leader in providing better health outcomes in the implantable device industry. OUR MISSION We believe that transparent, accurate and rapid access to medical implant information will result in superior patient outcomes. The DIR was created to facilitate improved dental implant patient outcomes by: 1. Improving communication between patients and treating dental professionals. 2. Providing dental health professionals and dental implant manufacturers with tools to track patients’ implant data (anonymised for companies) and help identify positive and negative trends. 3. Providing a dental implant education portal for educational institutions, associations and manufacturers involved in specialised dental implant training and education. The DIR improves transparency of the dental implant process between patients, dental professionals, industry and government entities ultimately improving patient outcomes.
