With growth constrained by the availability, sustainability, and cost of high-quality feed ingredients, aquafeed producers are looking for new raw feed materials. Our technology converts methanol, derived from natural gas or carbon dioxide, into a high-quality protein ingredient via fermentation. The result is a nutritionally on par or superior, massively scalable, and cost competitive product with dramatically lower land, water, and climate impacts compared to conventional agriculture feed ingredients.

DeNova has advanced its technology through lab-scale R&D and pilot facility operations and is now accelerating a phased-market entry through the construction of an approximately 1500 metric tons (MT) per year capacity market entry plant in Nova Scotia, Canada with start-up expected in 2027.
DeNova is also in planning its first full-scale production facility in Alberta, Canada, which will deliver over 50,000 MT of protein annually by 2029. Beyond GP01, DeNova will be deploy a phased expansion strategy targeting global production volumes of >500,000 MT annually by 2040.
