Our beginnings start as a joint venture between Hamlin and Sun Metal in 1976, then a standalone company in 1979, purchased by Spartech in 1996, then reborn as a new company, CEW in 2009. Additional capabilities were added in 2000 with the acquisition of Alshin Tire giving CEW a strong presence in the international Polyurethane Molding market for tires and other product solutions. CEWs technologies continue to evolve as our customers needs change. Currently customers experience the value of our Thermoplastic Injection Molding, Polyurethane Molding, and unique Lost Core Molding services in addition to the wide array of secondary services provided. Some of these services include our Tread Cap tire solutions, painting, machining, heat staking, inserting and assembly. However it is most common for relationships to start with CEW through the customer’s appreciation for the upfront engineering, testing and product design value that we bring to them, allowing product solutions that others simply cannot offer.
