Charlottes Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) serves across campus and in the Charlotte region as a center of excellence for evidence based entrepreneurship. CEI works to provide resources and expertise for university and community based startups as they commercialize their innovations and scale their ventures. Our core programs serving the UNC Charlotte students, faculty and staff include the NSF I-Corps Program, 49er Foundry Student Business Incubator and the annual Charlotte Venture Challenge. Mission: CEI serves as a center of excellence for evidence based entrepreneurship. We provide the resources and expertise to help build and launch your ideas. Vision: To provide UNC Charlottes campus and community with the entrepreneurial fundamentals and expertise through mentoring, programming and networking for early stage startups.
