Carlys Natural Company is a Swedish better-for-you f&b company. Our team, consumers, ambassadors and shareholders include entrepreneurs, professionals, world-class athletes and all folks demanding innovative, functional and great-tasting energy, powering their everyday life.
The companys first product, Carlys Energy Shot, was developed with the aim of creating an all-natural energy shot, with an equally solid flavor profile. It was launched nationwide in 2018 at 7-Eleven in Sweden, demonstrating immediate traction in what is arguably the best test market in the world. Following several product iterations and additional launches across Scandinavia and in the EU (with launches in e.g. Circle-K, Coop, Nordic Wellness, SATS, LIFE, Barrys Bootcamp and Google), in 2022, with a wealth of data garnered, we launched in the US market. With US manufacturing, a perfected recipe and in partnership with leading incubator/accelerator LA Libations, we launched in California at Sprouts Farmers Market; in an extremely competitive environment, we delivered strong KPIs, finishing top 2 in an innovation test among 10+ leading emerging brands.
In 2023 we launched nationwide in Sprouts Foraging Program, yet again beating the velocity targets and placing in the top 10% in single units sold out of the 65 brands participating. In a consumer survey done in conjunction with the Sprouts national launch, a combined 85% of those surveyed (Social Nature, 5K+ people) stated that Carlys was either much better, better or on parity with their current energy beverage (5 Hour Energy - the legacy brand in the category - was the #1 current energy beverage (34%)).
