Camel Ventures is the first Venture Debt and Fintech focused investment vehicle in Egypt. We invest in Camels – the embodiment of the characteristics we look for and nurture, in our startups. Camels are the most powerful symbol of endurance, persistence, and strength. They represent incredible patience and steadiness, but are also fast movers, and more importantly can maintain speed for long hauls. Their home is Africa, our target market and the cradles of future innovation and progress. In Arabic culture, they symbolize wealth and prosperity: our promise to our investors. And finally, they are associated with exploration and discovery, key qualities of our target startups and the foundation of thriving enterprises.
