California has the lowest literacy rates in the nation - nearly 1 in 4 adults struggle to decipher the words in this sentence. Through our educational programs and advocacy efforts, we aim to increase literacy and academic outcomes for California students. CEJAs mission is to ensure that every student has equal access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. Education is a fundamental human right and every child should have the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
