The v1.0 product was launched into market in September of 2010. Fundamentally, the software allows groups of people to rapidly form a secure workgroup using their mobile devices (e.g., embedded, SmartPhone, netbook, laptop) for collaboration, location-based services, situational awareness, and person-attached or unattended sensor sharing. The product was initially conceived and developed to fill a massive hole in the market: to enable information sharing and tactical decision support for our men and women working in defense, homeland security, counter-terrorism, law enforcement, and emergency response. These professionals serve on our streets and abroad in austere, denied, and chaotic environments where mission success and life safety hinges on information exchange.
